Caitlin Burman, Owner
Caitlin was born and raised in Severna Park. She started running while in college at the University of Miami. She also got very into triathlons, and has raced everything from a sprint to a half Ironman. She is currently training for Ironman Louisville 2013. Her favorite distance to race is the half marathon. She enjoys running through the neighborhoods of Severna Park, as well as on the B&A trail, and downtown Annapolis. Caitlin knows how important it is to run in the right shoe, and is looking forward to getting more of Severna Park running. Adam Wedekind, Fit Specialist and Nutrition Nerd
Adam Wedekind graduated from Severna Park High School in 2008 at a weight of 375 pounds. Adam couldn't run a single lap around a track, let alone a mile. He began running in the Kent State Running Club in 2010 as a way to lose weight. Formerly a professional video game star in Call of Duty, he took that dedication to a different sport. One of his teammates in 2011 suggested he run his first sprint triathlon. Adam fell in love instantly. Since then he has run multiple triathlons, marathons, half marathons, 5k's, and even a Tough Mudder! He believes that running should be a fun activity and bring a smile to all the new runners. He now attends the University of Maryland College Park and trains and races with the Terp Triathlon team. As a bigger athlete who burns a few more calories than normal, Adam knows the importance of nutrition especially in long distance events. More than two years later now, he has lost a total of 140 pounds and completed Ironman Arizona on November 18th 2012. Getting faster and stronger every day he aspires to see how far he can take his triathlon career with a long future to come. Adam is a trained EMT and Firefighter in the state of Maryland. Currently a Kinesiology major he hopes to do something with helping others in weight loss when he graduates.
